Remixed Collection Presentation
More than 50 creatives contributed and shared their ideas in order to build this collection. This presentation took place at the Interactive Telecommunications program, at the
Tisch School of the Arts. It was broadcasted live with and ongoing chat.

Center for Architecture - AIA NY Documentation
During the development of this documentation the public was welcome to come and observe this part of the fashion process. The designers for Hacking Couture were at the shoot to speak about their creative process and designs. This documentation included the collaboration of a great team: Maria Mayer, Tim McNerney, Chiho Omae, Dana Karwas, Michal Bril, Daniela Elbahara and many more

Test Photo Shoot with Maria Mayer
In order to get a better sense of the work we would be carrying at the Center for Architecture, Maria Mayer carried a test photo shoot with some of the selected garments. modeled by media artist Joo Youn Paek.

YSL + POLO Hack at ITP-NYU
During this workshop that took place at ITP, multimedia artists and designers gathered with fashion designers to brainstorm and create a remixed garment that uses the design code of Yves Saint-Laurent and Polo. Thanks to the participation of C.Spot Designs

CHANEL Hack at Eyebeam
For this second round of the Chanel Hack, Eyebeam welcomed Hacking Couture during its friday's Open Studio hours. The workshop was open to the public. Some selected pieces from the previous Chanel Hack were brought to Eyebeam and the participants were asked to developed their hacks on them.

CHANEL Hack at Tisch - NYU
The Chanel workshop focused on the materiality that the House of Chanel is known for: pearls, chains, and its basic color palette of black and white. Architects, engineers, designers, programmers, thinkers and performers were paired in teams with attendees from NYU's FBA [Fashion Business Association].

YSL Hack at Pratt Institute - Fashion Department
For this workshop, the selected code was Yves Saint Laurent. The main focus were to use Yves Saint Laurent's design code and themes in order to make their own hack. The fashion design students expressed their talent and skill in a workshop that focused on rapid prototyping.

POLO Hack at ITP-NYU
For this workshop the ITP community gathered, as part of their Thursday's Drive-By Series and after the participants learned about the background on the evolution of what is today a Polo shirt, they built new designs for Polo. No previous sewing skill was required to participate in the workshop.
